While political analyst and founder Editor of Indian White Paper MA Mujeeb blamed Kejriwal for his arrogance to join the bandwagon of secular vote and in going together with INDIA alliance with share sharing.
A candidate's character should be clean and he should know the virtues of sacrifice. The way Kejriwal jumped onto political ladder due to anti corruption slogan, has fallen him down-words due to his corruptive practices
The Aam Aadmi Party, born from Hazare's anti-corruption crusade, has trailied behind the Bharatiya Janata Party as votes are being counted for the 70-member Delhi assembly polls held earlier this week.
AAP veteran and former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia conceded defeat from Jangpura while party supremo Arvind Kejriwal stared at a loss from the New Delhi seat due to their falling ino corrupt modes.
With the liquor policy issue came the money and they drowned in it. The (AAP's) image was tarnished. People saw him (Arvind Kejriwal) talking about clean character and then about liquor..
The AAP lost as it failed to understand the need to serve people selflessly and took the wrong path. Money took the front seat which dented AAP's image, leading to its defeat. Hazare sensing his inner mind set parted ways with Kejriwal after the latter decided to form the AAP in 2012.
According to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the ED, irregularities were committed while modifying the Delhi excise policy for 2021-22, and undue favours extended to licence holders.
The Delhi government implemented the policy on November 17, 2021, but scrapped it at the end of September 2022 amid allegations of corruption.Hazare had stayed away from politics when the AAP was founded.
In political maneuvering, the AAP, BJP split 6 riot-hit Northeast Delhi seats in a close contest. Six constituencies of northeast Delhi that were affected by the 2020 riots witnessed a close contest between the Bharatiya Janata Party and Aam Aadmi Party, with both parties winning three seats each. Hyderabad MP Asaduddin's AIMIM worked for the RSS from inside, dividing the secular vote.
In Seelampur, AAP's Chaudhary Zubair Ahmad defeated the BJP's Anil Kumar Sharma by a margin of 42,477 votes. Ahmad received 59.21 percent of the votes polled while Sharma got 27.38 percent of the vote share.
While the Congress' Abdul Rehman, who was the sitting MLA from the seat but had switched sides after being denied ticket by AAP, got only 12.4 percent votes.
Besides Seelampur, AAP was victorious in Babarpur and Gokalpur while the BJP won Mustafabad, Karawal Nagar and Ghonda.

As to why Hyderabad MP Asaddodin's AIMIM despite knowing well from 2014 till date it has no due strength to muster a seat in its favour, to what is crucial reason AIMIM strengthening RSS and the BJP from 2014 is a matter of debate by the Muslim intellectual society.
It is better for the Muslim minorities silently keep away in silent modes the AIMIM from Indian polity. In fact Hyderabad MP Asaddodin Owaisi lacks political mind that it can not take in its fold the Bahujan Samaj while 60 per cent among Bahujan Samaj is ralling behind Manuwad by compromising with money and liquor.
When one contests polls, the candidate's character should be clean and spotless. The candidate should know the virtues of sacrifice and should have the capacity to tolerate insults.
These qualities (in candidates) win people's trust who feel the candidate will do something for them. I kept saying this but they (the AAP) did not understand it. When the corruption allegations crop up, it is necessary to tell the masters the people that these charges are wrong.
