International Urdu Day Celebrated, MFI Prez Mujeeb advocates to respect, practice Urdu
Hyderabad : International Urdu Day Celebrated at Dr. Moulana Abul Kalam Azad Oriented Research Institute, Public Gardens, Hyderabad on Saturday on 9th November 2024. The event was organised by the champion of Urdu and former Dy Director Medical Services, Government of India Dr. Khaja Bahuddin Ansari.
In his Convenor's address the former Dy Director Medical Services, Government of India Dr. Khaja Bahuddin Ansari while welcoming the participants of the gathering emphasised the need of adopting Urdu as first Language by the lovers of the Urdu.
Dr. Khaja advocated for the use of Urdu in the domestic and social arena. He said that the International Urdu Day reminds us about the world's best cultured Urdu which is spoken by the considerable population of the world.
In his guest of Honor's address the national president of the Muslim Federation of India (MFI), Founder Editor of Indian White Paper & Advocate at Higher Judiciary M. A. Mujeeb asked the Muslims to promote and respect their mother-tongue URDU.
Mujeeb asked the alleged Muslim political parties including AIMIM going from Hyderabad to Bhainsa in Adilabad jungles to divide Muslim and Hindu communities for their political survival and promoting BJP to come into power. Mujeeb siad AIMIM has no respect to their mother-tongue and promote empowerment and culture of Muslims,
He asked the Muslim Society to keep " Urdu Khayeda" (basic Urdu Teaching Book) in every Muslim House to educate their children the basics of Urdu. He asked the intellectuals among Muslim Society to promote Urdu and sweetest social culture across Indian Society.
Mujeeb came down heavily on the Union, the State and the Local Governments for neglecting the structure and its basic needs including no appointment of required basic manpower to administer and manage Dr. Moulana Abul Kalam Azad Oriented Research Institute at Hyderabad.
He emphasised the need to respect the first Union Education Minister Dr. Moulana Abul Kalam Azad's teachings on par with our national icons. He recalled that Dr Abdul Kalam was one of the pioneers in drafting our Constitution Committee along with Dr. BR Ambedkar.
He said there is an urgent need to protect libraries related to the crucial history of Indian Freedom Struggle. Mujeeb demanded Rs. 10 Crore for re-constructing the new building and for its infrastructure and required manpower.
Mujeeb recalled the contribution made by the former union minister late S Jaipal Reddy, an architect of Telangana in making the union cabinet dozens of times in resolving formation of Telangana about protecting Urdu and good work done by Nizam to Telangana in the area of higher education.
Mujeeb recalled Jaipal Reddy telling the former Heads of the Public Administration, Business and Political Science Departments and renowed Professors of Indian Administration including Dr.M.A.Muthalib, Professor Satyanarayana, Dr. M.A. Aleem, Dr. (Mrs) Shameem Aleem, Dr. Sofi Ali that their efforts in the establishment of the new Public Personnel Management Department, will go waste unless they arrest RSS ideologists designed to destroy Urdu and good national culture.
In his Presidential address former Prof and Head of Urdu Department, Osmania University Mushtaq Ahmed emphased to give importance to Urdu in their routine personal and social life.
The Event was attended by the NEET Counselling Specialist Abdul Rab Arif, Dr. SMH Qadr, Prof. Mohammed Ansari, Arif Saleem and Presided over by Dr. Majeed Bedar, Retired Prof and Head of Urdu Department, Osmania University, Hyderabad among others.
