Need to employ every deserving Railway Porter as Class IV employee in Railways

Porters' demands are genuine, government should give a hearing for their rights to be employed as the class IV employees in railways

The railway porters are facing many financial difficulties and their work involves alot of risk, their lives involved to help people during the stampede at the New Delhi Railway Station last month and yet their voice was not being heard.
Thanks to the Leader of the Opposition (LoP), Rahul Gandhi recently interacted with porters at the New Delhi Railway Station, and asserted that he would fight for their rights.
Gandhi also urged people to share suggestions on the 'Awaaz Bharat Ki' portal to improve crowd management and strengthen security.
The nation wants to listen to every professional or businessmen or the formers or the soldiers' or industrialist fraternity's voice of India! It is unfortunate no Man Ki Baat of the Prime Minister so far has not been covered with such issues.
The increasing number of stampedes at railway stations and other public places is a matter of great concern, noting that many innocent people lose their lives or get injured in such incidents. We need to think together about how to prevent such tragedies.

Whether it was trying to remove people from the crowd, ensuring that the injured reached the ambulance and administration, or taking out the bodies of the dead - using their physical abilities, handcarts or spending money from their own pockets, they helped the passengers in every way, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha felt.
