Karimnagar: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is scheduled to inaugurate the newly constructed Integrated Collectorate building in Karimnagar on September 30.
State Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Thursday reviewed arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit and directed officials to ensure all preparations are completed on time.
Prabhakar, accompanied by Choppadandi MLA and DCC president Medipalli Satyam, Manakondur MLA Kavvampalli Satyanarayana, Collector Chitra Mishra, Police Commissioner Gaush Alam and Municipal Commissioner Praful Desai, inspected the Collectorate premises.
The Minister instructed officials to improve the appearance of the main entrance, Collector’s office and other areas to be visited by the Chief Minister.
He also suggested installing welcome arches at suitable locations. Police and other departments were directed to strengthen security and prepare a traffic management plan to minimise inconvenience to commuters.
Prabhakar also inspected the Telangana Talli statue site, public meeting arrangements and the newly constructed helipad. Revanth Reddy is expected to arrive by helicopter, inaugurate the facility and meet district officials before proceeding to Rajanna-Sircilla district.
