Rajamahendravaram: The 42nd Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a bike rally here on Thursday as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. Battalion Commandant R Jay Kumar flagged off the rally at the CRPF campus in Lalacheruvu.
The 42nd Battalion of the CRPF organises a bike rally from Lalacheruvu to Pushkar Ghat in Rajamahendravaram to promote patriotism under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
The rally, with personnel carrying the national flag, proceeded towards Pushkar Ghat. Addressing the gathering at Pushkar Ghat, Jay Kumar said the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign aimed to promote patriotism, national unity, and respect for the national flag.
He urged people to participate in the campaign by hoisting the Tricolour at their homes and demonstrating their spirit of patriotism.
Second-in-Command Mahender Hegde, Deputy Commandants Deepak Kumar and Dr Sheikh Roshan, and Traffic Police Station Inspector Vijay Kumar were among those who took part in the programme.
