Fire breaks out at a godown in Hyderabad, no casualties 

Meerpet : A major fire gutted a plastic godown in Meerpet, Hyderabad, causing heavy property damage. Firefighters controlled the blaze after hours, with no casualties reported. 

A fire broke out at a plastic godown in Meerpet of Ranga Reddy district near the Nandanam Metro Bar leaving the warehouse completely gutted by the fire, which subsequently spread nearby buildings. 

Upon receiving the information, three fire tenders rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control after hours of effort. The fire blaze intensified due to the large quantity of plastic materials stored there. 

Officials have made a preliminary assessment indicating significant property damage but confirmed that there were no casualties. 

Meerpet police are investigating the cause of the fire. The incident has caused panic and anxiety among local residents.
