Hyderabad: The state government will soon form a dedicated Corporation to include outsourcing employees for salary payments, with an official committee already constituted to finalise necessary modalities.
Labour Minister G Vivek announced this while replying to supplementary questions during Question Hour in the Assembly on Thursday, adding that a high-level meeting will be convened shortly.
Vivek stated that Telangana maintains the best wage policy, noting that the International Labour Organization considers the state a role model. Detailing the revised minimum wages across three zones, the Minister outlined category-wise pay scales.
Unskilled workers will receive monthly wages of Rs 16000 in Zone-I Municipal Corporations, Rs 15000 in Zone-II municipalities, and Rs 14000 in Zone-III rural areas. Semi-skilled workers will receive Rs 17000, Rs 16000, and Rs 15000 across the respective zones.
Skilled manpower will be entitled to Rs 18500 in Zone-I, Rs 17500 in Zone-II, and Rs 16500 in Zone-III. Highly skilled personnel will earn Rs 20000 in municipal corporations, Rs 19000 in municipalities, and Rs 18000 in rural regions.
The government aims to streamline salary disbursals and enhance financial security for all outsourcing staff across Telangana through this newly proposed corporate administrative framework.
