Shahana Goswami considered quitting acting due to dissatisfaction with conversations and unfulfilling roles in films like Ra.One and Heroine.

"I was bored of the conversations around me. I would increasingly spend larger amounts of time on my own, watching films on my laptop. At some point, I realised I wasn't feeling satisfied
"Also, the roles I got in films didn't justify my talent. The actor in me wasn't satisfied with them," she adds.
"I was okay with my career being over because I'm not attached to specific things. With acting, it was something I knew in my bones that I wanted to do. But now, I'm already getting over acting and films because I feel that the real game is the spiritual game. That's what I'm more interested in now."
She jetted off to Paris, almost on a whim, and spent four years there.
It worked out well for her, as she bagged offers for Rock On 2, A Suitable Boy, Bombay Begums and a second innings in her career with meaty roles and globally renowned films.
'Why do relationships become such a make or break?'
The conversation was not limited to movies.
Shahana also spoke about her thoughts and beliefs, especially around love.
"Friendship is one of the greatest relationships for me because there is an innate trust and love in it, and a belief that it will find its way. Why can't we do that in relationships? Why does it become such a make or break? Whenever I see a dependency, I go off it," Shahana says.
"I grew up knowing people in my parents' circles who were leading unconventional lives and marriages. I have been exposed to it my whole life. I don't have a value judgment. If someone wants to have an open relationship because they want to sexually engage with multiple people, so be it."
