Anantapur: A team led by Executive Officer H Hanumanthappa and Panchayat Development Officers from Chitradurga district, Karnataka, on Monday visited Gummagatta mandal to inspect works under Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajivika Mission (Rural) scheme.
They examined a water harvesting pond in 75-Veerapuram gram panchayat, interacted with workers on wages and nature of work, and reviewed cattle shed construction, magic drain works and a play-field in Pulakunta.
Discussions covered Material Collection Centre activities, proposals and bill processing. Ultra-high-density plantations at Thallakera and BTP settlement were also inspected.
The team expressed satisfaction with the execution and explanations provided. Later, they met district Collector O Anand along with DWMA Project Director Salim Basha and briefed him on the visit.
