Hyderabad: A family was allegedly attacked by a group of persons following a Ganesh immersion procession at KLR Venture in Raghavendra Nagar, Medchal, according to Muslim Federation of India (MFI) Telangana State Working President of Bahujan Freedom Party (BFP) Advocate High Court Md. Rahail Ahmed.
Advocate High Court Md. Rahail Ahmed said Akber Khan and his family, who earn their livelihood by selling vegetables in the weekly market, were allegedly targeted while one of his sons, Azher Khan, was returning home in his auto after closing their stall.
According to the family, some people returning from the Ganesh immersion procession allegedly stopped Azher Khan and asked him to stop his auto. Suspecting that they were under the influence of alcohol, he reportedly turned back and reached his house.
The group allegedly followed him to the house, broke open the door and entered the premises before attacking the family members with a knife. Akber Khan and his three sons were allegedly assaulted, with two of his sons sustaining serious injuries.
Advocate High Court Md. Rahail Ahmed also raised concerns over the alleged response of the Medchal police. He said the family claimed that the police did not immediately intervene and instead asked the injured persons to make their own way to the hospital.
Advocate High Court Md. Rahail Ahmed who is also the Working President of the Telangana Bahujann Freedom Party urged senior police officials to take immediate action and sought protection for the affected family.
The Advocate High Court Md. Rahail Ahmed accompanied by the National President of Bahujan Freedom Party and MFI National President & Advocate at the higher judiciary M.A. Mujeeb visited the House of the victim and assured legal asistance to the aggrieved Azher Khan and his family members that manuwadi members of the RSS and BJP to bring them to book and the culprits will be punished in accordamce with the law.
Later, speaking to IWP National President of Bahujan Freedom Party and MFI National President & Advocate at the higher judiciary M.A. Mujeeb asked Chief Minister Mr. A. Revanth Reddy to not to ignore the Muslim Society to Socio Econmic injustice,
Mujeeb reminded Revanth Reddy that it was due to Muslim and Bahujan Society voting for the Congress he was put in the seat of the Chief Minister. Higher Juciary Advocate Mujeeb warned Chief Minister cum Home Minister A Revantha Reddy to behave as the responsible and accountable Chief Minister and deliver the goods for the State.
Otherwise the days are not far from his de-throwing him from the seat of Chief Minister of Telangana as the democracy is supreme and people are real judges to set wrong doers in order, Mujeeb a former janata dall leader and close associate of Late S. Jaipal Reddy reminded Revanth.
