Tension in Rajendranagar after mosque desecration incident
Hyderabad: Tension broke out at Kismatpur, Rajendranagar on the late night of Wednesday, April 29, after some unknown persons entered a mosque and desecrated the place.
Muslim Federation of India (MFI) Rajendranagar Mandal President Md.Jamaluddin said that unknown persons trespassed into the Masjid-e-Bilal mosque around 11.30 pm and damaged the Quran and other religious books.
The incident led to tension in the locality.
Police officers rushed additional forces to control any untoward incident.
The Masjid-e-Bilal committee lodged a complaint with the police, demanding that they register a case and arrest the accused involved in the incident.
The police increased patrolling in Rajendranagar following the incident.
The higher-ups of the police formed special teams to identify and nab the miscreants.
