Malkajigiri - Medchal Dist Court Bar Association pays rich tributes to Dr .BR Ambedkar on his 136 Birth Anniversary

Hyderabad / Kusaiguda : The Medchal Malkajgiri District Court Bar Association paid rich floral tributes to Bharata Ratna Dr. BR Ambedkar on his 136 Birth Anniversary function at the Medchal Malkajgiri District Court Bar Association today.

Advocate T. Rathaiah President of the Malkajgiri - Medchal District Court Bar Association presided over Dr. BR Ambedkar's 136 Birth Anniversary function today. Chief Guest of the function was the Principal District Judge Bala Basker who inaugurated Function of Bharata Ratna Dr. BR Amedkar on his 136 Birth Anniversary. 

The Chief Guest while addressing the jampaked Bar Assoiation said Dr.BR Ambedkar was the 14th son of Smt.Bhimabai Sakpal and Subedar Ramji Maloji Satpal.  He played an important role in drafting the Indian Constitution. Dr. BR Ambedkar was a great economist, educationist, politician and jurist.

Addressing the gathering former president of Bar Association Advocate Yadagiri Rao said the advocates represent intellectual and social workers Yadagiri Rao emphasised to adopt the honesty, hard work and sincerity of Social reformer and Bharath Ratna Dr. BR Ambedkar.

Addressing the gathering Advocate Sudhir Babu Goud recalled the original name of Dr, BR Ambedkar as Satpal but his father registered the name as Ambadawekar.  Ambadawe is associated with his native village name Ambadawe in Ratnagiri district. His Marathi Brahmin teacher Krishnaji Keshav Ambedkar changed his surname from Ambadwekar to his own name " Ambedkar" in school records.

All the former Presidents and Committee Members addressed the gathering and paid rich tributes to the Chairman of the Indian Constitution drafting committee.
