TG Govt to revise land market value from May 28
Hyderabad: The market value of lands in Telangana is set to increase from May 28. The Stamps and Registration Department has made elaborate arrangements to register properties with the revised market values from the end of this month.In a bid to generate additional revenue, the government has also finalised guidelines for the HILT policy, and the State Industries Department is expected to issue a notification soon.
The Cabinet Sub-Committee on Resource Mobilisation held a meeting with officials of the Registration and Industries Departments to review the revised land market values.
Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy instructed officials to take strict action against individuals involved in illegal activities that cause financial losses to the state exchequer.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka directed officials of all departments to focus on mobilising additional revenue sources to meet the budgetary requirements of the current financial year and accelerate the state’s economic growth.
He emphasised that resource mobilisation should be aligned with the budget estimates proposed for the 2026–27 financial year.
Officials were instructed to completely plug all leakages and fully utilise every available revenue source to achieve the budget targets. Bhatti further clarified that officials across departments must work towards enhancing revenue strictly in accordance with the predetermined timeline and implementation calendar.
