Vijayawada: The leak of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses (NEET-UG) has triggered widespread anxiety and uncertainty among thousands of medical aspirants, parents and coaching institutions across Andhra Pradesh.

With the announcement of a re-exam, several coaching centres have begun special crash courses and programmes to support the affected students.

Managements of coaching centres say that they are treating it as a responsibility towards students, who spent up to two years preparing for the highly competitive medical entrance examination.

Many coaching centres had already started fresh batches for students who failed to secure expected scores in the preliminary key. Some institutes have decided to extend special coaching support to students, who have completed their preparation earlier.
