Allu Arjun appears virtually in Sandhya Theatre stampede case
Hyderabad: Nampally Court adjourns hearing to July 29 after some of the 23 accused fail to appear In the Sandhya Theatre stampede case hearing, Allu Arjun appeared virtually before the judge at the Nampally Court on Monday.
The court postponed the case hearing to July 29 after a few accused failed to appear. The court allowed actor Allu Arjun to appear through video conferencing as he is currently in Mumbai for a film shoot.
Following the court's permission, the actor attended the hearing virtually before the judge.
However, out of 23 accused, a few did not appear before the court. As a result, the Nampally Court adjourned the case and posted the next hearing to July 29.
The court had earlier stated that the next stage of the proceedings would continue only after all 23 accused were present.
In this case, the Public Prosecutor submitted copies of a 500-page charge sheet against the 23 accused to the court.
Allu Arjun is named as accused number 11 in the case stemming from the stampede at Sandhya Theatre on December 4 2024.
The owner, partners, manager, lower-balcony in-charge, and gatekeeper of Sandhya Theatre were named as accused 1 to 10. 56
